OVERVIEW

The Broadway Shops are located at the main entrance and exit to a Wal-Mart Supercenter, Sam’s Club, Lowe’s, and Staples. The Shops are home to national, regional and local retailers such as, Applebee’s, Quiznos, Hollywood Video, Great Clips, Commerce Bank, The Tan Company, Palen Music and others.

Adjacent to the Broadway Shops is the Broadway Bluffs, another Forum Development Group property. The Bluffs current tenant list includes Starbucks, Chipotle, Houlihan’s, Kobe Japanese Steakhouse, Culvers, and a 10,000 sqft Verizon office and retail location. 30,000 cars pass the Broadway Shops on Broadway and 45,000 on Highway 63 everyday.

The Broadway Shops are surrounded by a mix of well educated, high income level consumers. Within a 5 mile radius of the development there are 100,555 people living in 40,976 households with an average household income of $57,993. The Community at Old Hawthorne, located 2 miles east of the Broadway Shops on Broadway, is the largest residential development in the history of Columbia. The development encompasses 1000 acres including a private 18 hole golf course, single family homes and luxury condominiums.

There are 6,500 daytime employees within a 1 mile radius of the Broadway Shops including 3,300 medical workers. Within a 3 mile radius of The Shops are 51,650 daytime employees including 13,622 medical workers, as well as 40,000 students.

In 2007, the Broadway Shops along with Coil Construction, were inducted into the VP Buildings Hall of Fame in the Retail Catagory.  The prestigious award was given to 5 buildings world-wide in 2007 based on design, craftsmanship and construction.  More information on this award can be found on here.
